Set up of a PCI-DSS certified network for one of the biggest online payment service provider of Europe: to meet the client’s requirement of achieving PCI-DSS certification and to provide an ultra-secure network, HWG implemented an innovative, intelligent and ad-hoc security package.

This security package was drafted, designed, configured and installed within a month at client’s premises by our experienced security engineers. This ad-hoc security package included Next Generation Firewall for centralised web-access protection. With its machine learning capabilities, it also detects known and unknown threats. It also offers features like IPS, URL filtering, Zero-day threat prevention, command and control prevention and sandboxing.

As this solution was designed for one of the privileged and biggest client, load balancers were also installed which distributed workloads among the available computer resources.

SIEM (security incident and event management) appliances were also integrated into this security package to get all the log reports of the connected appliance like NGFW, FIM, antivirus and advanced endpoint security. Which enables our SOC to take a deep inside view of the overall health of the IT network of our client. Our Cyber SOC provided real-time monitoring and managing of client’s IT network. A 24x7, 3-tier technical support was provided by service engineers agreed by SLA (Service level agreement). A dedicated security manager was responsible for overall SOC processes and provided necessary assistance and modifications whenever necessary. Security manager also furnished a detailed view of all the reports produced by our Cyber SOC during a monthly meeting with the client and also was responsible for monthly network security audits. This integrated ad-hoc all-in-one security package helped our client not only to achieve a highly secure network with PCI-DSS certification but also saved a lot of investment money by not spending in each solution differently.
